Helsinki's  (and Finland's)  gem:  The  historic  Suomenlinna  Fortress  Island(s).  Suomenlinna is a national monument, and rightfully; on  Unesco's  World  Heritage  list.
It isdefinitely worth visiting.

        Mustasaari, Länsi-Mustasaari, Särkkä, Pormestarinluodot and Lonna. Särkkä island is closest to this pier. The taxi boat is "pointig" at it. Särkkä also hosts the gourmet summer restaurant "Särkkä".

 Beutiful sea views from a great picnic spot in the "Piper Park" on Helsinki's Suomenlinna Islands.

There is a small cafe, "Cafe Piper",  on the mound to the right, about 20 meters from this
spot. The cafe has a few tables on its patio. Needless to say, the scenery is magnificent.

Suomenlinna (Swe: Sveaborg) is a group of 8 islands.  The white ship (on its way to Estonia) is just entering the "Särkkä strait", located btw Särkkä (Swe: Långören) & Länsi-Mustasaari.
