Excellent video from the Music Center's opening ceremony, with conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and the Sibelius Academy Choir performing Sibelius' "Finlandia Hymn". Quite moving, for a Finn at least ;-)

The cute Finnish "monster" hard rock band LORDI won the Eurovision song contest in 2006.
The clumsy & cute & quite endearing costumes of these playful (pun intended) band members caused quite a hoopla
